Tinna reaches out to farmers through a special initiative called Tinna Krishi Vikas Kendras (KVK's) to promote its unique Crop Development & Oil Seed Extension Programme.
The company has established a network KVK's and procurement centres across Maharashtra and Karnataka, manned by trained experts offering agri-assistance to thousands of farmers.
At Tinna, farmer's Meet is an ongoing exercise. Tinna KVK held it's first farmer meet in April 2001.

Inputs provided to farmers on best farming practices by qualified agronomists
Cash prizes are given to farmers who get the best yields
Provision of quality agri-inputs such as pesticides, seeds, fertilizers, gunny bags etc. at very
economical price to the farmers
Product testing facility like moisture meter etc. are made available to the farmers
A unique and transparent system of procurement of produce whereby the best rates are
offered to the farmers at the factory
A telephone helpline for any cultivation related queries of farmers
KVK doubles up as a procurement centre
At KVK's, on an average 300 to 400 farmers are attended everyday averaging to approximately 50,000 to 1,00,000 farmers per annum
